For the past 8 years, I have been helping women lose weight in a way that works for THEIR bodies…and helping them keep it off for good. Why is nutrition my main focus?

Because food is the foundation of our lives.

When you feel good, you perform better. When you have more energy, you have more motivation and drive to succeed. When you’re at peace with your body, decision-making becomes easier.

Most women fall for quick fad diets and “4-week challenges” instead of making little changes along the way to create lasting change. Here is the pattern that I see:

Phase #1: “This plan worked for my friend Sally, I’m going to do it too”

Women tend to follow diets and lifestyle habits from other women that they strive to look like. This never works, because there is no one-size-fits-all eating plan or solution to weight loss. What you need is a plan customized to your body, schedule, lifestyle, and goals.

Phase #2. Less cooking, more “convenient” options.

“I usually just eat out at lunchtime. I only have an hour and it’s easier” OR “I’m starving when I get off work, so I’ll pick up something quick on the way home. Cooking sounds exhausting.” Before you know it, you are in a constant cycle of skipping meals (which wreaks havoc on our metabolisms) or eating processed foods daily.

Phase #3: Too much focus on the end goal. Not enough faith in the process. Giving up when they don’t see results in 3 weeks.
